Pizza Making Festival at American Culinary and Cruise Line Academy in Margao

  American Culinary and Cruise Line Academy (ACCLA), based in Margao will be organising a Pizza Making Festival for individuals of age group 16-25 years, which will be held on 27th June 2015, 9am onwards at the Academy campus. The one day festival is free and open to students from the specified age group mentioned.

This pizza making festival will provide an opportunity to the students to learn the art of pizza making & also expose them to the wonderful world of culinary. Students will be shown how to make various mouth watering pizzas. Chef Seby Fernandes and Chef Paul Fernandes who are the faculty at ACCLA, have worked onboard luxury cruise lines in the capacity of Sous Chef, will be conducting the pizza making session. Students can also bring along their parents to enjoy the delicious pizzas which will be prepared by them. Soon after the culinary session parents, students and invitees will be given a tour of the facilities and infrastructure which the academy provides to its students. The campus has a state-of-the-art kitchen, which is designed like the galley (kitchens onboard cruise liners), equipped with latest equipment, so that the students get a complete experience and feel of working in a galley onboard a cruise liner.

ACCLA is a unique culinary academy, which specializes in professional culinary education and training, specialising in the field of cruise line culinary programs.

ACCLA offers specific culinary programs that cater to the American cruise line industry. The course content is aimed at training students in acquiring specific skill sets which are necessary for the cruise line industry.

The program curriculum has been designed by cruise culinary professionals, along the lines of the best culinary programs for the cruise line industry in the world, under the guidance of senior industry and academic experts with experience in the cruise line industry.
