2nd ODI Match of India-England Bilateral series was played at Wolverhampton Cricket Club.

England won the toss and invited India to bat. The English team demonstrated excellent bowling and fielding skills which resulted in the falling of Indian wickets in regular intervals. Indian team was restricted to 295 runs in 37.4 Overs at a loss of all wickets. Ajay Reddy remained unbeaten till the end making 121 runs out of 103 balls hitting 14 boundaries. Ketan Patel added 42 critical runs out of 32 balls. Durga Rao and Ganesh scored 28 runs each. Fourth wicket partnership of 47 runs between Ajay Reddy and Ganesh Muhudkar, 8th wicket partnership of 61 runs between Ajay Reddy and Ketan Patel and the last wicket partnership of 66 runs between Ajay Reddy and Uday Kumar helped the score board to reach a decent high. Justin Illingworth from England took 4 critical wickets giving just 45 runs in 8 overs. Luke Sugg, Pete Blueitt took one wicket each putting the World Cup Champions in a slightly difficult situation.

Ajay Reddy bowling first took 2 critical wickets of Justin Ilingworth and Nathen in the first over itself just giving 3 runs and controlled what could have been a difficult situation for India. He was the most economical bowler giving just 28 runs in 7 overs. Though the 4th wicket partnership was the strongest with 126 runs scored by Matt Dean (84 runs) and Matt Page (54 runs) – a total partnership of 126 runs. Shekar Naik and Ketan Patel took one wicket each. Despite best efforts the English were all out for 212 runs in 35.2 overs. The World Champions registered a thumping victory in the ODI series by 83 runs.

The 3rd and final ODI will be played on the 29th May 2015.
